Swimming Lessons for 2008
This summer Hampton Pool will offer three 1-week sessions of swimming lessons that are geared towards beginner swimmers. There is no charge for the lessons, however they are open only to children of members. Because of the demand, you may only sign your child up for one session.
*Note: Due to problems we have had in the past with no-shows taking up available spots, if you sign your child up for a lesson you miss 3 or more of the lessons (illness or family emergency excluded), the member will be assessed a $25 cancellation fee.

Session 1: Monday June 16 – Friday June 20 (every day)

- Pups 11:45 am – 12:25 pm
- Flounders 12:40 pm – 1:10 pm
- Sharks 1:15 pm – 1:55 pm

Session 2: Monday June 23 – Friday June 27 (every day)

There will be three different levels as follows:
- PUPS (Beginners- minimum age 4 to age 6)
This class will focus on introduction and adjustment to the water. Movement in the water, introducing floating, kicking, and being comfortable with putting face in water.
- FLOUNDERS (Beginners- minimum age 4 to age 8)
This class is for children who at minimum are comfortable in the water and can float on their back and front, as well as jump in by themselves. Focus will be on development of stroke techniques and kicking as well as introducing diving.
- SHARKS (Intermediate- minimum age 6 to 10)
This class is for children who are working on or have completed their deep end test. Focus will be on stroke efficiency, control, and development of additional strokes.
*NOTE: YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP YOUR CHILDREN IN PERSON AT THE POOL. SIGNUPS FOR FRIENDS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DUE TO SPACE.
